About Sue Vandenberg
Sue began working in the mental health field in 1983, and registered as a Psychiatric Nurse in 1986. She continued her education, earning several university qualifications, including a Master of Nursing degree in 2002. Sue was a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse from 2007 to 2019.
Throughout her career, Sue worked closely with mental health nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health workers in hospital and community settings. She also spent several years as a lecturer in nursing at the University of Newcastle before focussing on counselling and therapy work for General Practice patients.
In 2013 Sue commenced training in hypnotherapy and was amazed by the long-term benefits this type of therapy can bring to people. Since then, she has attended training and courses interstate and internationally, and studied with world leaders and experts in Hypnosis.
